About our services

As well as running a 26 bedded inpatient acute stroke unit (with 4 hyperacute beds for new admissions including those patients thrombolysed for acute stroke), we run a daily TIA clinic at the RUH. We now operate a 7 day service for TIA, though high risk patients only are seen at the weekend and on bank holidays. Please refer using the guidance above.

We also run monthly clinics for less urgent stroke referrals, including long term stroke complications e.g. spasticity - these referrals should be faxed to Alison Jones, administrator on 01225 821287.
