Bribery Act
The Trust Board has considered the implications of the Bribery Act and approved the initial risk assessment of the Trust’s position at its meeting on 9 November 2011. Actions to address the gaps were agreed and further updates will be reported through the Audit Committee.

At the Trust Board meeting on 9 November 2011 the Trust Board also confirmed their top level commitment to the prevention of bribery within the Trust and within organisations with whom the Trust contracts.
In addition the Trust Board confirmed the Trust Board Secretary as the nominated individual for ensuring adequate systems and processes were in place to address the requirements of the bribery Act. The Trust Board Secretary can be contacted by calling 01225 826215.
