The RUH opens its doors to nurses – Saturday 19 November, 10 – 2pm

Calling all experienced and newly-qualified registered nurses! The Royal United Hospitals, (RUH) Bath NHS Foundation Trust is holding an open day on Saturday 19 November 2016 for people to drop-in between 10am and 2pm. Sian Swatton, Recruitment and Retention Nurse, RUH said:

"We're holding this event to give experienced nurses and those nurses who've recently qualified an opportunity to meet our teams, take a tour around our medical wards and find out what it is like to be a registered adult nurse at the RUH.

"Staff from the clinical areas and wards will be on hand to answer any questions and I will be available to discuss how to apply for our posts."

Candidates interested in applying can find out what it's like to work at the RUH by reading staff profiles on its website, including Laura Goodman's, who works on the William Budd ward and says:

"I get huge satisfaction from my job. It's rewarding work and we get to know our patients really well. I feel privileged to be able to care for our patients."

Director of Nursing, Helen Blanchard, at the RUH says:

"The RUH is a truly great place to work with a number of benefits, not least the opportunity to provide high quality care and to be part of a fantastic team. Our nurses are proud of the work they do here, delivering care to a very high standard.

"We have a fantastic range of opportunities on offer at the RUH and I would recommend anyone interested to either come along to our open day, call our recruitment team on 01225 821142 or visit www.jobs.nhs.uk."
