Come to our Nurse Recruitment Open Day – 16 June 2017

Registered and nearly qualified nurses looking for full or part time work are invited to a Nurse Recruitment Open Day event on Friday 16 June at the Royal United Hospitals (RUH) Bath NHS Foundation Trust.

Melanie Ross, Resourcing Manager at the RUH said:

"We have a fantastic range of nursing and Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) positions available and we can offer permanent appointments or the opportunity to join the Trust on a flexible basis. "Come along to our event, you'll be able to take a tour around our medical and surgical wards and meet some of our front line nursing staff. We'll be there to tell you more about what it's like to work for our hospital plus you'll find out about our training and development opportunities. I'd like to encourage anyone interested to come along and speak to us."

The RUH is the main provider of acute treatment and care for a catchment population of around 500,000 people in Bath, and the surrounding towns and villages in North East Somerset and Western Wiltshire. The Trust provides a range of acute services including medicine and surgery, services for women and children, accident and emergency services, and diagnostic and clinical support services.

Mandy Blunsdon, Junior Sister on the RUH Chemotherapy unit said:

"I currently work in Chemotherapy Outpatients and the William Budd Day Unit. Our jobs are so important, and I am proud of what we all do every day. The RUH is an exciting place to work so if you'd like to find out more come to our Open Day."

There's no need to register to attend the event which will be held in the RUH's Oasis Conference Centre on the RUH Combe Park site. Simply turn up from 10am and free parking will be available on the day.
