Sphygmomanometer ordering information
After evaluation the following device is now the standard sphygmomanometer to purchase for ward and clinic use:
Welch Allyn "Tycos 767"
It is a very well made accurate aneroid sphygmomanometer. A wheeled stand mounting is recommended to allow easy movement around the ward or clinic. Wards should buy a variety of cuffs to ensure accuracy for all limb sizes. The most economic way is to buy cuffs in boxes of five.
