Doctors Mess
The Doctors' Mess costs £15/month. We supply fruit, snacks, cereals, toast, biscuits, and crisps. We also have a bean to cup coffee machine which is free for members to use. We have a delivery of pizza on a Saturday evening and Chinese on a Sunday evening (around 7:30pm) for the weekend on call team. As well as this we have sofas and a Smart-TV with Netflix.
Understandably we have had to adapt with COVID. As COVID allows we will continue to hold socials every month which are subsidised with free food/drinks. We have held events at the Lansdown Cricket club, Sub-13 cocktail bar, and when able, a Christmas party and an annual summer ball, held at the Roman Baths.
Unfortunately during COVID our sports teams have fallen a bit by the wayside but we are always keen to get these up and running again if there is good interest- previously we have had Football, touch rugby, Netball and squash. In the summer time we have a table-tennis table on-site.
