Clinical Application
From 26/01/2026, LDL cholesterol is being calculated using the Sampson equation. This allows LDL to be calculated in patients with triglycerides ≤9.0 mmol/L and the calculation shows better correlation with measured LDL methods Vs. the Friedewald equation.
