Theresa Peters has worked in Haematology/oncology since qualifying in 1991. She was the first Haematology CNS in post at the RUH, setting up the service in 2004. She is the (peripheral blood) stem cell transplants transplant specialist nurse (BMT) as well as supporting patients with Lymphoma, CLL, acute leukaemia and Myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).
She has been a member of a national working party with other health professionals, to teach nurses about caring for patients at with MPNs, by running conferences and an online resources. She also contributes to the network working parties on Haematology and BMT. Theresa also is involved in running patient support groups at the RUH.
