Overview
The Radiology Department at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, offers state-of-the-art multimodality imaging to the local community. Each year the department performs over 260,000 imaging examinations in the areas of Plain Film Radiography, Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional and Cardiac Radiology.
The Royal United Hospital also has a separate dedicated Clinical Imaging and Measurement department on-site
All imaging modalities are digital and are linked electronically to reporting workstations with the ability to report investigations promptly. The department is linked nationally through its Picture Archive and Communications System (PACS).
