Support during your treatment

Therapy radiographers are the main people that you will be coming into contact with during your treatment. They will be able to answer many of your questions and give advice on side effects and what you should and shouldn't do during treatment. They will also be able to liaise with the oncologist and obtain medication prescriptions if required to alleviate radiotherapy side effects.

Dependent upon where we are treating, you may be seen in a review clinic. The exact number of times you are seen depends on the length and type of treatment you are having, as well as how you are feeling. In these clinics you will see a doctor.

You may also see a dietician or specialist nurse if required.
