Confidentiality
We provide a confidential service for all, including under 16s. The only reason we may need to break confidence is if we think you are at risk of harm or are harming someone else. We will always try to discuss this with you first.
We have a stand alone computer system and all our notes are either kept in the clinic or stored securely.
We do not inform your GP of your visit unless you wish this to happen.
If the GP refers you to us this is usually done via a letter. In this instance we will reply to the GP once you have attended. We will ask you if you wish to have a copy of the letter sent to your address.
If you have any concerns or questions please contact our health advisers on or speak with member of staff when you attend.
