The medicines formulary used at the RUH is produced by the Bath Clinical Area Partnership (BCAP). The aim of this document is to promote safe, effective, appropriate and economic prescribing in both hospital and general practice. Full details can be found by clicking on the link below.

Medicines recommended in NICE Technology Appraisals are added to the formulary within 3 months. However, they may take longer than this to appear in the formulary. For up-to-date information on the implementation of NICE technology appraisals, please contact the Clinical Guidance Implementation Manager
