RUH Radiographers to take part in industrial action
Radiographers at the RUH are to take part in industrial action on Monday 20th October, from 9am until 1pm.
In order to minimise disruption to services, a small number of appointments have been rescheduled on the morning of the strike.
Letters have been sent to all patients affected, but the RUH would like to issue the following advice to ensure those patients who have an appointment are aware of what to do:
Patients who have an appointment scheduled for an MRI or CT scan at the hospital between 9am and 10am on Monday 20th October will have their appointment rescheduled and the hospital appointments team will be in touch to arrange this with them.
All patients who have an appointment scheduled for an MRI or CT scan between 10am and 1pm on Monday 20th October are being advised to phone ahead (after 9am, using the number given on their appointment letter) to check that their appointment will go ahead as planned.
