RUH seeks candidates for Non-Executive Director role
A new Non-Executive Director is being sought to join the Board of Directors at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
Non‐Executive Directors play a crucial role in bringing an independent perspective to the boardroom, in addition to any specific knowledge and skills they may have.
The role has a key focus on patient safety and care and the postholder will need to use their professional skills and perspective to support the governance and strategic development of the Trust.
Alison Ryan, Trust Chair, said: "We're looking for someone from a clinical background who can contribute their skills and expertise to help shape future healthcare for our local community and beyond. Ideally, they will live within the area served by the hospital and will have up-to-date clinical knowledge or experience of delivering healthcare.
"It's an exciting time to join our organisation as we continue to transform our site and further improve the services we provide to our patients. We recently completed the construction of the new RNHRD and Brownsword Therapies Centre and are now looking towards our biggest ever project – the Dyson Cancer Centre."
