RUH seeks candidates for Non-Executive Director role
A new Non-Executive Director is being sought to join the Board of Directors at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
Non‐Executive Directors play a crucial role in bringing an independent perspective to the boardroom, in addition to any specific knowledge and skills they may have.
The role has a key focus on patient safety and care and the postholder will need to use their professional skills and perspective to support the governance and strategic development of the Trust.
Alison Ryan, Trust Chair, said: "We're looking for someone who can bring experience of operating at board or strategic level from a range of professional backgrounds. To maintain a balance of experience within the Board, we are particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience of managing workforce and HR issues, working in a regulated environment and leading or managing significant cultural change in the working environment."
It's an exciting time to join our organisation as we are in the process of refreshing our Trust vision and goals and thinking about the future we want to see for our staff, patients and community.”
For an informal discussion about the post, please contact Roxy Milbourne, Deputy Head of Corporate Governance, on 01225 821299 or email roxy.milbourne@nhs.net
