Time's running out to vote for your new RUH public governors

Time's running out for members of the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust to cast their votes for the Trust's new public governors.

Voting closes at 5pm on Monday 17 October and those members who have yet to vote are being urged to do so before the deadline.

Trust Chair Alison Ryan said: "The role of a public governor is incredibly important so if you are a member of the RUH Trust and you've yet to vote, please do so as soon as possible.

"Governors play a key role as the voice of our members and local communities and bring valuable perspectives to our activities to effect real change, so don't miss the opportunity to make your vote count – vote today."

The role of a governor is vital in ensuring that the Trust delivers services that meet the needs of patients, carers, staff and local stakeholders, and that the views of local people are heard and fed back to the Board of Directors.

Voting is open to all of the RUH's members who signed up to membership before 31 August and who live in the following constituencies:

  • City of Bath
  • Mendip
  • North East Somerset
  • South Wiltshire

RUH Members can vote online here:

Voting runs until 5pm on Monday 17 October and the results will be announced on our website.

If you have any questions, have not received a ballot pack or are unsure whether you are eligible to vote please contact our Membership Office on 01225 826288 or via email at RUHmembership@nhs.net
