RUH seeks candidates for Non-Executive Director roles

Two new Non-Executive Directors are being sought to join the Board of Directors at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.

Non‐Executive Directors play a crucial role in bringing an independent perspective to the boardroom, in addition to any specific knowledge and skills they may have.

One of the vacancies is for someone with a clinical background, who has up to date clinical knowledge and experience of delivering healthcare, either within the NHS or the private sector.

The second position is for someone with a financial background or qualification in financial management and experience of risk management.

Both roles have a key focus on patient safety and care and the postholders will need to use their professional skills and perspective to support the governance and strategic development of the Trust.

Alison Ryan, Trust Chair, said: "We're seeking two new Non-Executive Directors to join the Trust board and are keen to hear from applicants with a financial or clinical background.

"Both positions require dynamic individuals who are progressive, ambitious and driven, with a proven track record of delivery and who are comfortable establishing relationships across the Trust and with our stakeholders.

"So if you feel you can play a vital role at the centre of the Trust and help to set the direction of the RUH, please do get in touch."

You can find out more information and apply for the clinical position here and the financial position here.

For an informal discussion about the post, please contact Roxy Milbourne, Deputy Head of Corporate Governance:

Closing date for applications for both positions is Tuesday 10 January 2023.
