RUH to hold its AGM for 2023

Highlights of the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust's key new corporate strategy, plus a round-up of the hospital's achievements over the last 12 months, will be on the agenda at this year's AGM.

The meeting – which is open to everyone – will take place on Wednesday 20 September at the Apex City of Bath Hotel, James Street West, from 4.30pm – 7pm.

Those attending will be able to find out more about the RUH's new You Matter strategy, which sets out the ambitions and direction of the Trust, and hear about the progress made on our priorities for the people we care for, the people we work with and the people in our community.

There will also be the opportunity to reflect on the Trust's activities, challenges and achievements over the last financial year.

Trust Chair Alison Ryan said: "This meeting is the perfect opportunity for people to find out more about how the RUH has fared over the last 12 months.

"I am especially excited to announce that we will be relaunching our popular Caring for You events, with a presentation on our brilliant Hospital at Home service.

"We are also hoping to share more information about our new Da Vinci surgical robot, generously funded by RUHX, the hospital's charity, which allows our surgeons to use cutting edge technology to perform complex procedures with greater precision.

"We will be sharing more details about our important new You Matter strategy and the progress we have made over the last year as well as looking ahead at what the future might hold for the RUH and the people we care for as we embrace our new vision – The RUH, where you matter.

"Many of our members of staff will also be on hand to share their innovative and exciting projects with you so please come along, find out what we have been up to and most importantly, tell us what you think.

"Everybody is welcome to attend, so please do come along if you can and bring your friends and families with you. I hope to see you there."
