The Ockenden Report
Following the publication of the Ockenden Report on Wednesday 30 March, an independent review of maternity services at the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, we understand that some of our women, birthing people and partners, their families and loved ones may be feeling concerned or anxious.
Every member of RUH maternity team prioritises the safety of our women, birthing people and their babies as well as their families and loved ones. We have all been impacted by the findings of the report and our thoughts are with the families affected.
We continue to actively identify ways we can further improve our services. We have listened to the findings and feedback from Donna Ockenden and her team, and we will continue to make improvements in line with the recommendations in the report.
