Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care System appoint Elective Transformation Director

Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Together Integrated Care System (BSW ICS) has appointed Paul Doyle as Elective Transformation Director.
Paul took up his new position on Monday 3 April. He will drive forwards BSW ICS's work to improve elective care and will develop an elective care strategy, lead on demand and capacity planning for BSW elective services and develop a network delivery model across the BSW area for elective services.
Paul joins BSW ICB from NHS England where he held the position of National Programme Director for Elective Recovery.
Prior to joining NHSE, Paul worked for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust where he held a number of roles including North West London Programme Director for Specialist Services Consolidation, Deputy Director of Transformation and Deputy CFO. Paul joined Imperial in 2016.
Before joining the NHS Paul spent 15 years in the Civil Service, primarily in HM Treasury, in a number of roles including Deputy Director for Health, and leading the Treasury and Government's analytical work to make the case for Scotland remaining part of the UK in the run up to the 2014 referendum.
Paul was awarded an OBE for services to economic analysis and policy making in the 2015 Queens Birthday Honours.
