External analytics tool

The Trust has become aware that our website, in common with the websites of a number of other NHS organisations, incorporated a tracking tool which could be used by Facebook's parent company, Meta, for its own business purposes.

We have taken immediate action to remove the tool from our website. There is no sensitive data, special category data (eg health data, sexual orientation, ethnicity etc) or patient level data available via the RUH website.

We apologise that Meta Pixel may have been active on our website without the privacy notice being updated to reflect this.
