Respiratory

Research aims

We support a wide range of research into respiratory conditions. Our projects focus on cellular mechanisms, experimental drug trials and novel imaging technology. We have also recruited participants to genetic studies.
Our research aims to improve care and outcomes for people with conditions such as:

  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Asthma
  • Pleural disease
  • Interstitial lung disease
  • Pulmonary hypertension
