Neonatal Services
Neonatal Unit
Babies who were born before 30 weeks gestation, weigh less than 1500 grams at birth or babies who were cooled at birth will have access to Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Services during their stay on the Dyson Neonatal Unit to support early development and help plan for discharge home.
Neonatal Follow up Unit
Babies who were born before 30 weeks gestation, weigh less than 1500 grams at birth or babies who were cooled at birth, are offered an appointment in the Children's Outpatients Department, when they are 3 months old (corrected gestational age) to review their development. If further therapy needs are identified at the appointment they may be referred to their local Therapy Team or seen in the NICU Therapy Follow up Clinic for up to 4 appointments.

Therapy Boost Programme
The 0-4's Therapy Boost Programme is an intensive multi-disciplinary therapy provision for preschool children who require more than two types of therapy input. It is carried out over 8 weekly sessions.
