Important advice for individuals taking immunosuppressive treatments for their skin condition:

The dermatology department is comprised of a team of Consultants, an Associate Specialist,
a full-time Senior Sister in Dermatology, two Dermatology Junior Sisters, three Skin Cancer Specialist Nurses and nursing staff dedicated to providing a comprehensive service for patients with all types of skin disorders and skin lesions. We are supported by our reception and administration staff who we work with closely.

    supervised by an experienced Dermatology Nurse Manager
  • Team of Skin Cancer Specialist Nurses to provide expert care for patients with skin cancer including photodynamic therapy for superficial sun damage
  • Team of dermatology sisters, who undertake out-patient clinics for patients
  • Specialist clinics for vulval disease, paediatric dermatology, immunosuppressed patients, patients on biologic therapy. International consultant expertise in contact allergy, rheumatological skin disease, vulval and paediatric eczema

Remote service for cancer patients

A new remote service FREE to anyone in the UK with suspicion or confirmed diagnosis of cancer.

Macmillan and partners cancer exercise specialists offer patients advice, support and resources to maintain and improve their physical and mental well being.Initially during the COVID19 response phase and intended to become an enduring national offer, subject to evidence of impact. Providing photographs ahead of your appointment

If you have been requested to submit photographs ahead of your appointment with a member of the team, please read this guidance on how to take your images.

Photographs should be submitted to ruh-tr.dermatologyphotographs@nhs.net along with your name, DOB, date and time of your appointment.

Please note that we are unable to review photographs without an appointment.
