About the Ward

Ward Layout

The ward caters for daycase eye surgery and has a bay of eight chairs for patients requiring surgery under local anaesthetic surgery.

The Eye Outpatient department is next to the ward.

We are open from 8am to 6.30pm

Meals and Drinks

Drinks and a light lunch are offered should you require them.

The preparing to go to hospital page has important information about what to bring when you're admitted to hospital.

To help keep you comfortable during your stay, we suggest you wear loose comfortable clothing. If you are having your operation under a general anaesthetic we ask that you bring slippers and a dressing gown with you. Patients are encouraged not to bring valuables into hospital.
