About the SOC
The Sulis Orthopaedic Centre is based at the RUH's independent partner hospital, Sulis Hospital in Peasedown St John, and is a joint venture between the RUH and Sulis. It specialises in non-emergency, orthopaedic surgery and provides care for NHS patients.
There are 8 recovery bays in Sulis Hospital Recovery and 3 in Sulis Orthopaedic Centre.
Surgery for patients from the RUH is undertaken by an RUH surgeon, assisted by a surgical team from Sulis. Immediate pre-operative and post-operative care is provided by the Sulis team.

Getting here
Public Transport
The D2X bus to Frome runs regularly hourly from Bath bus station. The best stop to get off is Russet Way in Peasedown St John. It's then a five-minute walk to the hospital. Go along Orchard Way, cross the A367 via the pedestrian crossing, go along Wellow Lane, turn left onto Foxcote Avenue and you'll see the hospital on your right.
Driving
There is a car park directly in front of the hospital. Parking at Sulis Hospital is free of charge for patients and visitors. Detailed driving directions can be found on the Sulis website.
Visiting
Visiting hours are 8am to 8pm. Food for visitors can be ordered from the deli bar in the main hospital building.Contact us
