Now is a great time to get involved, we have our estates strategy development plan, we know what we need to build and what stages the work must take place in, and we're keen to hear your thoughts.
We've put together some information on our plans for developing the RUH estate, outlining our proposals and the improvements we can deliver for patients, visitors and staff. We've also listed the technical studies that have already taken place to inform our plans. Please take a moment to read through the information below and let us know what you think.

We want to transform our site and the services we provide, removing poor quality buildings and creating a hospital estate we can all take pride in.
Your feedback will be used to inform the design process and future planning applications.
The detailed planning of these services and the design of the buildings that will house them is a mammoth undertaking. We have been working closely with patients, clinicians and the wider healthcare community on our initial plans and we'll continue this process as we develop our more detailed designs for each part of the redevelopment. There will be planning applications submitted to Bath and North East Somerset Council for each stage of the redevelopment, starting with car parking, and this formal planning process will be subject to further consultation.
