We believe that everyone's wellbeing is important, and that supporting the health and wellbeing of RUH staff contributes significantly to the quality of patient care. EAP is a free and confidential support service available to all RUH staff regardless of their role or grade.
What does EAP offer?
We believe that everyone's wellbeing is important, including mental health and wellbeing. By supporting the health and wellbeing of RUH staff we contribute significantly to the quality of patient care.
The EAP service is free and confidential; we don't share information with Occupational Health, Human Resources or line managers. Staff can self-refer to our service which offers the following types of support:
- Trauma interventions such as TRiM (Trauma Risk Management) and EMDR (a NICE recommended treatment for psychological trauma Mediation
- A range of health & wellbeing interventions including stress & burnout sessions, guided self-help and 1:1 counselling or therapy in a comfortable and confidential space on-site at the RUH
- Stress & burnout workshops to help you take care of your wellbeing and increase resilience
