Candidates guide to the election process

The nominations process begins on Friday 30th June, please see below the election timetable and important dates to remember:

Friday 30th June

The Notice of Election was made available on our website from 30th June.

Nomination forms can be completed on the election website at www.cesvotes.com/ruh23
or you can ask to be sent a pack via post using the following contact details:

Post: Civica Election Services, 33 Clarendon Road, London N8 0NW

Civica Election Services will act as a returning officer, and they are running the election independently from the RUH.
Friday 28th July Deadline for receipt of nominations.
Wednesday 2nd August Deadline for candidate withdrawals

The election process will continue behind the scenes until Friday 18th August, when we will be sent a Notice of Poll, which will be available on our website.

Monday 21st August Voting packs will be despatched by post or by email (please ensure we have your most up-to-date contact details)

All members living within City of Bath, Mendip, North East Somerset, North Wiltshire, South Wiltshire and Rest of England and Wales constituencies will be eligible to vote for their preferred Public Governor within their constituency.

Thursday 14th September Voting will close at 5pm, this is the last day to submit your vote.
Friday 15th September Results will be announced.
