Where to find us

The Macmillan Wellbeing Hub is spread across all three floors of the Dyson Cancer Centre. The hub is an easily accessible non-clinical space for the people we care for, their loved ones and the wider community to visit and find information on the different stages of cancer and treatment paths available and get advice from trained professionals and volunteers located on the ground floor.

Within the Wellbeing Hub are peaceful spaces for our patients to explore the tough questions and difficult emotions that can emerge with the diagnosis and prognosis of cancer.

Our staff

Staff trained to deliver personalised care and support will be there to help every step of the way, from diagnosis, through treatment, recovery and follow up and can refer to specialists in palliative and end of life care for patients and families that need this.

Events

A calendar of events will take place in Macmillan Wellbeing Hub for to support patients on their cancer pathway. These include 'living well' events post treatment with advice and support sessions on subjects like activity, financial planning, nutrition and managing side effects of treatment. Art therapy sessions and other complimentary therapies sessions will also be held in the hub.

The Hub also provides a counselling suite, a hairdressing room and some overnight accommodation for families and carers.
