Contraception Clinic

GPs offer basic sexual health screening (tests), treatment, advice and contraception. The specialist contraception clinic at the RUH provides more complex sexual health screening, advice, tests and treatment. The clinic is held on Friday afternoons. It is run by specialist in sexual health, Dr Teresa Laverty. There are facilities for Xrays, scanning, removing and inserting skin implants and intrauterine contraceptive devices.
