Your Pay

Getting Paid

At the RUH, your salary is paid monthly on the 28th of each month, unless it's a bank holiday or weekend when you will get paid sooner on the nearest working day.

If you will be holding a bank only contract, you will be paid weekly on a Friday, unless it's a bank holiday when you will get paid sooner on the nearest working day.

If you know your National Insurance number, please ensure you provide it on all of your New Employee documentation. If you do not have an NI number, please click here for information on how to obtain one - all employees are required to have an NI Number.

If you have a P45 from your previous employer, please bring it with you on your first day (or as soon as you have received it) and hand it into the Payroll Department. This will help to ensure you are on the correct tax code when you start work.
