Our achievements so far
Our areas of focus for the year are known as Breakthrough Objectives. These are our most pressing issue and by focusing our improvement efforts in these areas will help us achieve our Trust objectives.
The three breakthrough objectives for 2020/21 are:
- Improving the number of discharges by midday
- Reducing hospital acquired infection
- Improving the recruitment and retention of our nurses
How we're doing so far :
For our Partnership strategic goal we're focusing on discharges by midday and have seen a 10% improvement over the last 12 months.
For our Quality strategic goal our aim is reduce hospital acquired infections.
For our Staff strategic goal our aim is to reduce band 5 nurse vacancies with a positive starter to leaver ratio. The number of vacancies shows a steady decline over the past 12 months.
