The Vascular Studies Unit is located in department B56 on the second floor of Zone B at the RUH accessed easily via the Main Entrance.

Travelling to the RUH

Hospital Transport

If you are unable to use public transport and do not have anyone who is able to bring you to your appointment you may be eligible for hospital transport. Hospital transport can be arranged using the following numbers:

  • Gloucestershire: 01278 726968
  • Bath & North East Somerset: 01278 727425
  • Swindon: 01278 727401
  • Wiltshire: 01278 727410

We ask that you or a family member arrange your own hospital transport as they may require key information about your home, and mobility, to determine the most suitable form of transport for you.

If you will require hospital transport please let the vascular studies team know on 01225 824440 so that your appointment can be booked on the morning clinic list. We try not to book patients using hospital transport in the afternoon to prevent patients being delayed on their return journey.
