Our Trainees

All of our Clinical Vascular Scientists are either registered with the Health and Care Professions Council or have Accredited Vascular Scientist status from The Society of Vascular Technology. As we are a training department a trainee may be present at your visit and you may be asked if you are happy for them to perform part or all of your scan under the supervision of a qualified scientist.

From time to time there may also be Doctors within the department who are learning to scan for specific conditions as part of their training.

If you would prefer not to be scanned by a trainee or another medical professional undergoing ultrasound training, please do inform us before your scan begins.
