Our Critical Care Department (incorporating the Intensive Care and High Dependency Units) is a 13-bed ward within the hospital. Every year, we treat over 800 patients, with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions. The unit is run jointly by an experienced group of specialist doctors and nurses, supported by therapists, technicians and support staff.

The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is a busy district general hospital with 759 beds, serving the needs of 500,000 people in Bath and the surrounding areas of North East Somerset, West Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire.
