Blue Badge Holders

Carers (All Wards Including ED)
- Free parking for carers supporting patients in wards or in the Emergency Department.
- A carer is someone identified in:
- Care Act 2014, Section 10(3)
- Children and Families Act 2014, Sections 96/97
- Carers (Recognition and Services) Act 1995
Children's Ward & NICU Parents
- Free parking for resident parents of sick children.
- Free parking for parents of babies being cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Oncology Patients
- Free parking for oncology patients attending treatment appointments.
Patients Undergoing a Course of Treatment
Applies to patients receiving treatment:
- At least three times within one month, and
- Over a period of at least three consecutive months.
Departments included:
- Oncology
- Radiotherapy
- William Bud
- Chemotherapy
Free parking applies only on treatment days.
Bereavement
- Free parking for those visiting the Bereavement Office or collecting a death certificate.
- Visitors must use the designated bays outside the Bereavement Office.
Relatives
Free parking applies for:
- Relatives of patients who are critically ill.
- Relatives of patients on the End of Life Care Pathway.

Unexpected admissions to hospital
If a visitor has driven to the hospital and is subsequently admitted to a ward, please ensure their vehicle is registered with Saba Parking Management.
