Swimming Pool

The open air community swimming pool at the RUH is open for the 2024 season from Monday 29 July throughout August and September.

The pool is open to the public, with lane swimming sessions for swimmers aged 11+. Throughout the school holidays there will also be lane-free swimming sessions for ages 6 months and over.

Booking is essential – you cannot turn up on the day and pay. Sessions cost £4.50 for RUH staff, and £5.50 for non staff.

About the pool

The pool is 20 metres long and heated to 26 degrees. Changing facilities are available.

We encourage pool users to arrive by foot, bike or public transport where possible. Parking is available in the RUH public car parks, and is chargeable.
