It also addresses what patient's may experience during the scan and how to prepare for scans. The website contains over 115 radiologic procedures and is updated frequently with new information. All material on the RadiologyInfo.org website is reviewed and approved by experts in the field of radiology from the American College of Radiology and Radiological Society of North America, as well as other professional radiology organizations.

For information on a specific interventional radiology procedure, the British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR) and the Clinical Radiology Patients' Liaison Group (CRPLG) of the Royal College of Radiologists, have also prepared specific information leaflets for patients on a wide range of procedures.
