Inpatient Services

We are a team of physiotherapists working within different specialist areas covering all wards in the hospital. We aim to provide a quality service based on local guidelines and protocols and the latest evidence and research, working within our professional code of conduct.

We assist in the discharge planning of patients and link with community services to ensure follow up physiotherapy for patients after discharge from the RUH where necessary.

Our normal working hours are 0830-1630 weekdays and there is an on- call service in place outside these normal working hours for emergency chest cover only through our bleep system.
