Fire
If you hear the alarm:
- Follow instructions from staff
- If you discover a fire, close doors, raise the alarm
- Never fight the fire yourself
- Do not use lifts
- Do not rush
- Do not enter a building, whilst a Fire alarm is sounding
- Do not re-enter a building, until authorised to do so
Accidents
If you have an accident, please ask any member of staff for help and advice. All accidents must be recorded on a report form.
Suspicious packages
- Do not touch it or allow others to touch it
- Move calmly away from the area
- Report it to a member of staff
- Do not return to the package
Security
It is very important that you and your visitors feel safe and secure. There are a range of measures to ensure this including CCTV cameras, access control on some doors and our security staff.
All staff must display a personal identity badge with their photograph, name and job title. Please report any suspicious acts.
Smoke-free policy
From Tuesday 1 January 2019 the Trust is completely smokefree – our smoking shelters have been removed and smoking is not be permitted anywhere on Trust grounds. E-cigarettes (vaping) are permitted, used outdoors only and away from main entrances. This applies to everyone using our site, including patients, visitors, staff and contractors.
