Recent milestones

April 2021 Planning approved by Bath and North East Somerset Council. We will continue to work with BaNES council throughout the life cycle of this project.
May 2021 RUHX reach £10m fundraising target
May 2021 Demolition and reconfiguration of site complete. In preparation for the new Centre, the old Therapies block was demolished, oncology staff offices were relocated and a new access corridor was built.

June 2021 Site handover to Kier Construction
July 2021 Breaking ground
March 2022 Topping out

Proposed dates

Summer 2023 Kier handover - finished building for fit out
Spring 2024 Open for patients
